Questions about study notes generator
Will it add things my course did not cover?
No. It works only from what you paste in. Where the source is clearly thin on something it should cover, it says so at the end rather than filling the gap silently — a note containing material your examiner never taught is worse than a shorter note.
How much can I paste in?
About 20,000 characters, which is a long chapter. For a whole textbook, do it a chapter at a time — the notes are better when the source is focused.
Do I need an account?
Yes, for the AI tools. Credits are counted per account, so there is no way to meter an anonymous visitor — and an unmetered path would exhaust the model budget within a day. Signing in is free and the free plan includes credits.
Is my text stored?
Your text is sent to the model to be processed and is not saved to your account unless you choose to save the result. Identical requests are cached for a day so a repeat costs nothing, which is why the same input can return instantly.
What happens if it fails?
The credit is refunded. A request that returned nothing does not cost you anything.
Can I use the output commercially?
Yes. Check it first — a language model can be confidently wrong, and anything factual should be verified before you put your name on it.
Something wrong with this tool?
If it gave you the wrong answer or would not do what you needed, we would rather hear about it than not.
