Questions about add a watermark to an image
Does the preview match what I download?
Yes. The preview and the export run the same drawing code — the preview is simply scaled down. The download is at your image's full resolution.
Which is harder to remove, a corner mark or a tiled one?
Tiled, by a long way. A corner watermark is one crop away from gone. Tiling is the right choice for proofs and previews; a corner mark is fine for something you are happy to have shared.
Is my file uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser — the file is read from your device, processed there, and never sent anywhere. You can confirm it by disconnecting from the network after the page loads; the tool still works.
Is there a file size limit?
100MB. The limit is your device's memory rather than a policy: beyond that the browser tab tends to run out of memory rather than simply being slow.
Do I need an account?
No. Signing in only adds a library, so your results are still there when you come back.
Something wrong with this tool?
